I don’t support Ron Paul because it’s fashionable, I support him because he represents the kind of fresh thinking that is so needed in this country.  Now, i’m not surprised that the establishment tried to discredit him with the newsletters.  This is the very nature of the politics that most of us have come to dispise.  Can anyone out there find any shred of evidence that Ron Paul is racist or has voted along race lines?  No, they can’t.  Accuse anyone of being racist - how can they defend themselves?  A persons record is what one should look at.  His record has helped fight the type of injustice that many minorities in this country suffer bacause of.  For instance, the drug laws that have put so many minorities in prison is a good example of an issue that Ron Paul fought against - because it unfairly targeted minorities.  Now it’s up to people to vote the way they feel, but let’s not discredit an honorable man over something this ridiculous.
